It will not be sent anywhere else and does nothing if you do not have ManicTime installed. This plugin will send your browsing data to locally installed ManicTime. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. ManicTime is desktop application which tracks your computer usage. With ManicTime I get it all, and if I were ever to be audited by a client, I could give them every detail. Just wanted to let you know that I think your software has helped me capture $1000's of dollars in revenue that I just wasn't billing before, as I wasn't doing a very good job of tracking my time. You can use ManicTime to enter your work hours, then send the timesheet back to specific issue. (And your support has been excellent when I have had the odd problem). ManicTime has made it so much easier to track my time over the various projects and therefore manage my fees and costs. I run my own business which principally relies on writing technical reports.

I don't know what I would do without ManicTime. This is the best tool I have found so far for a work style that involves heavy duty multi-tasking.
At the end of the day my timesheet is a breeze. Once tagging is setup I can easily tag all my activities as I do them and my time accumulates in each project bucket. To tag just some of the items, Shift or Ctrl select them in the results, right click on them and choose Tag selected as.I do contract work and manage multiple projects where I bounce between projects on an almost by the minute basis. It will open up an Add tag view where you can choose a tag. Once you get a list of results, you can click on Tag all as button below. You can also use Advanced search for tagging. To see all untagged activities, leave Filter field empty, check "Show only untagged activities" and click Find.įrom then you can double click on any activity to go to Day view or directly tag activities right from Advanced search. You can use Advanced search to see untagged activities. If you would like to export results to a text file, click on Export button below.
To use regular expressions, encapsulate them in #"regular expression"įor example, to search for anything: #".*"Īdvanced search will search through the whole database. Instead of only text and wildcard characters, you can also use regular expressions. Manictime is great for monitoring usage times for different programs.

For example to just display those activities which have 'google' in the title, click on Applications timeline to select it, then in filter write 'google'. You can only filter on one timeline at the time. To filter the activities on the Day view, use filter text-box at the bottom.
